Obama's continuing lies

Obama's gaffes have become blatant lies after lies.  I am glad this article mentions it, but where are big shot journalists? How come they are not asking Obama about his exaggerations?
Mr. Obama's ads show he's aware of his vulnerability on two fronts: his liberal values and his meager achievements. Yet he should be more cautious with these weaknesses. His bio ad says he was raised with "values straight from the Kansas heartland," though he grew up in Hawaii. He claims to have passed three bills, but fails to mention that two were in the Illinois state Senate and that he didn't vote on the third in the U.S. Senate. His new ad praises welfare reform, yet he opposed the legislation when a Republican Congress passed and President Clinton signed it.

What can't we say about Obama!

On May 16, Limbaugh delivered a monologue on what you can’t say about Obama:

“With Obama we started out, we couldn’t talk about his big ears ’cause that made him nervous. We’ve gone from that to this: Not only can we not mention his ears, we can’t talk about his mother. We can’t talk about his father. We can’t talk about his grandmother unless he does, brings her up as a ‘typical white person.’ We can’t talk about his wife, can’t talk about his preacher, can’t talk about his terrorist friends, can’t talk about his voting record, can’t talk about his religion. We can’t talk about appeasement. We can’t talk about color; we can’t talk about lack of color. We can’t talk about race. We can’t talk about bombers and mobsters who are his friends. We can’t talk about schooling. We can’t talk about his name, ‘Hussein.’ We can’t talk about his lack of experience. Can’t talk about his income. Can’t talk about his flag pin. This started out we can’t call him a liberal. It started out we just couldn’t talk about his ears. Now we can’t say anything about him.”

Obama will be elected by our Media

Power to the people no more! This election will be about the power of media and how they are so determined to make Obama the king. Regardless of Obama's weaknesses, flip flopes, broken premisses, gaffes and lies. Obama was "selected" by super delegates and he will be "elected" by the media in the general election. Here is what Mark Miller had to say:

In news reports, when McCain responds to criticism, he is on the defensive, but when Obama responds he hits back forcefully. When McCain makes gaffes on the campaign trail, it raises serious questions about his age and judgment.

Obama's gaffes are ignored or attributed to fatigue from tough campaigning. You'll often hear Republican positions described as controversial, but you won't hear about controversial Democratic positions.

UPDATE: Well I guess some media outlets will try expose him. Read today New York Post, LIARS' ROUND-UP..its a good start!

But wait...read more.

Obama the "Sweetie"

Obama did it again, talking in a condescending way toward women.  He can not help himself.  This is what he said today at the unity love feast in NH:

"Because of the campaign that Hillary Clinton waged, my daughters and all of your daughters will forever know that there is no barrier to who they are and what they can be in the United States of America. They can take for granted that women can do anything that the boys can do -- and do it better, and do it in heels. I still (Obama laughs) --  I still don't know how she does it in heels."

Referencing "heels"..expressing amazement what women can do wearing heels!!!! ?? what an arrogant, snob he is.

Obama's middle name, no more!

Why is Obama running away from his own middle name? Jack Tapper from ABC news has this to say in his blog:

"It's one thing for Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, to distance himself from his minister, his home lender, his pledge to try to work out an agreement to use public financing, or the importance of telecom immunity in the FISA bill.

But his own middle initial?

Clearly, however, the middle name "Hussein" is not an automatic crowd-winner, and the Obama campaign is sensitive to any reminder -- no matter how internal or benign -- of said name."

Obama flip flopping his way to general election

Obama healer in chief?! Not anymore.

It is worth remembering that Obama has already made Canada nervous on trade issues.  And that European officials are already fretting that an Obama presidency would engage in an unconditional surrender regarding the Iranian nuclear threat.  Barack Obama was supposedly running as a candidate who would not alienate US allies — did he flip-flop on that too?

"Changed" Obama

Wow! just watch this video. Just 2 years ago, he did not even think that he was ready for the highest office. He even supported Bush on Iraq war. I guess, the "change" Obama talks about is about the degree of which he IS "changed" in the last 2 years.

Don't count on Obama's promises!

When in the course of political events it becomes advantageous for a presidential candidate to dissolve a campaign promise, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that the candidate at least refrain from wrapping himself in the Declaration of Independence.

Not Barack Obama.

What's galling is Obama's effort to portray himself through this entire episode as somehow different from, and purer than, the ordinary politician.

Two Obamas...

From LA Times blog:

The nation sees one Obama, Chicago knows another

For all his talk elsewhere about change and his national image as a fervent reformer, Obama on the contrary remains fundamentally a product of a Chicago and Illinois political culture renowned for corruption and filled with curious characters who range from felonious to just outrageous.
Whenever the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee has dabbled in Windy City and Cook County politics in recent years, he has frequently failed to come down on the side of political progressives and reformers.

To learn more about Obama's chicago connection read Rezko Watch.

Beware Obama donors!

With Obama, it seems a $2,000 donation will get you his ear, but not his respect.

Get the whole story here, or you can read his book, Audacity of hope and go to page 114, to see how he makes fun of people that supported his rise to fame!

Just words!

Don't tell me words don't matter

Well they don't matter to Mr. Obama.

Obama statements come with an expiration date

All Obama statements come with an expiration date. It's just a matter of when.  Ah..well said, Mr. Geraghty!!
Being flexible is fine, but being indecisive is a sign of weakness and not fit for the highest office.

As Jennifer Rubin points out:
It is no secret that the media has been openly rooting for Obama for months. His gaffes would have felled other candidates, his relationship with hate-mongering preachers would have disqualified mere mortal candidates and, of course, his lack of any national record of accomplishment might have prevented all much the most ego-inflated from even mounting a White House run. But it was hanging together fairly well until last week.

Obama's Ad = Lies

From Weekly Standard Blog:

"So Obama's new ad, the first of the general election, "cites Public Law 110-181 when he talks about his efforts to extend 'health care for wounded troops who'd been neglected.'" The problem? Obama never showed up to the vote. He was actually too busy campaigning to make it back to Washington to vote for the bill, but wants the American people to think he deserves the credit. Sounds a lot like the 2005 Energy Bill, which Obama has the gall to attack John McCain on even though the junior senator from Illinois voted for it and McCain voted against it."

Check out the vote roll here: U.S. Senate Roll Call Votes 110th Congress - 2nd Session

UPDATE I: OBAMA NEEDS TO EXPLAIN HOW HE HELPED WOUNDED TROOPS

UPdate II:A poster at Daily Kos attempted to defend Obama, but towards the end of the post, notes that Obama offered two amendments that dealt with medical and mental health assessments and a temporary moratorium on discharges for personality disorders… but neither amendment was considered for a vote. Link.

UPDATE III: What a liar. The staff gets very frustrated when Obama lies and the media plays along. Link

UPDATE IV: If you don't have a record to run on, Just make one up! But as we all know, Obama doesn’t have much value at all when it comes to his experience or integrity.  So the only way he has left to sell himself to the American public is to exaggerate his accomplishments. Link

Obama's seal, Audacity of Arrogance

Have you seen the new seal of Obamaland or Obama nation? They've "changed" the seal of the United States of America. What's next? I guess he will "change"  our country's name to suit him when he becomes the president.  He promised us change and we are slowly getting the taste of the "change".

But oops, Weekly Standard thinks he may be breaking a law. Check it out here. This is worse than a gaffe! It's absolute arrogance.

Update: wow, it did not go over well with AP, this is what they had to say:

But both Obama and his wife, Michelle, ooze a sense of entitlement.

"Barack is one of the smartest people you will ever encounter who will deign to enter this messy thing called politics," his wife said a few weeks ago, adding that Americans will get only one chance to elect him.

Obama's lies to pile up

Washington Post reports:

“John McCain’s campaign and the Republican National Committee are fueled by contributions from Washington lobbyists and special interest PACs,” Obama said in his message to supporters yesterday. “And we’ve already seen that he’s not going to stop the smears and attacks from his allies running so-called 527 groups, who will spend millions and millions of dollars in unlimited donations.”

To date, no conservative 527 groups have materialized.

Obama the $500 million man

I finally got it! Obama's idea of "Change", is actually the ability to  "change" his mind whenever regardless of his promises.

Watch this video.

In 2006 Obama thought public financing will SAVE tax payers money.  Well, I guess now, he does not care if he saved money anymore!  Since he is the $500 million man. As ABC blog correctly puts:

'We have found the new politics -- and it can spend half a billion dollars to win an election.'
and the ABC blog goes on to say:

"Obama made a coldly calculating decision based on a desire to win. He tossed aside a pledge rather than throwing away the single biggest advantage he enjoys over his rival."

Obama´s half truths

Is this what he means by change? Series of half-truths and made up facts! is anyone checking his claims, or the media is just so in love with him that no one bothers or cares!. Well, Hugh Hewitt.. has the list compiled for them:

In the course of a single speech Obama asserted that offshore oil exploration would —in the very best scenario— take five years to drive down the cost of gas 3 or 4 cents, but that an investment of 250 billion dollars five years ago would have produced an engine that didn't require fossil fuels.

Obama asserted that we could move to 40 MPG fuel standards for cars, and at another point asserted that the technology existed for 100 MPG cars, even as he asserted that exploration on the outer continental shelf and Alaska would cause permanent environmental damage.

Obama extolled a high school he had visited that —he firmly stated— was majority Hispanic, and which had gone from a 50% drop-out rate to a 100% graduation and college enrollment rate in one year by using an Afro-American centric curriculum that focused on African music, then blues and jazz. Obama held out this school as an example of what could be achieved when students "were engaged in a curriculum that was interesting to them and seemed relevant to them."

Obama´s vague change!

Obama´s foreign policy team is Clinton old group. The same group that had an opportunity to capture Bin Laden and did not. So what type of "change" is he offering? or is he just fooling poeple and playing games with "word"...just words!

Here is an article touching the same issue:

"At the same time, the Illinois senator's choices for his Senior Working Group on National Security may open him up to more criticism from Republicans that the professed "change" candidate is relying on familiar Washington insiders or that the failure of these former officials to kill or catch Osama bin Laden before the 9-11 attacks left the nation vulnerable on President Bush's watch.

"There's nothing 'new' about this group of Washington insiders," Republican National Committee spokesman Alex Conant said. He urged Obama to spend more time meeting with commanders in Iraq and considering the positive effects of the military troop buildup there instead of "sitting down in a room with a bunch of Washington elites, many of whom also opposed the surge."

Obama & Iraq = Inconvenient Truth

Watch this youtube video, dated April 5, 2004:

Interviewer: But you said that troops should be withdrawn.

Obama: No, no. I’ve never said that troops should be withdrawn. What I’ve said is that we’ve got to make sure that we secure and execute the rebuilding and reconstruction process effectively and properly and I don’t think we should have an artificial deadline when to do that. What’s important is that we have a long-term plan in process and short-term security strategy.

How come no one in the media is asking anything abou this?

Link: Read the whole article here

Obama & Iraqi Minister? Another Gaffe?

What exactly did Iraqi Minister tell Mr. Obama? Did Obama lied or the media is going to conisder this misinformation another gaffes? why is it that Iraqi Minister Zebari recalls different discussion?
I speculated that something seemed odd about Barack Obama’s account of his
conversation with Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshay Zebari. Obama said that Zebari
didn’t express any concern about Obama’s immediate withdrawal plans. Well,
according to Zebari that is a lie.

Jennifer Rubin, from Commentary Magazine continue to write:

There seems little reason for Zebari to lie about his private meeting with
Obama. That leaves us to conclude that Obama either didn’t listen to or didn’t
understand what Zebari said or misrepresented what he heard from the Foreign
Minister. That is deeply troubling. An explanation seems in order from Obama.

H/T: Gatewaypundit, The Air Force Pundit

UPDATE I: From ABCnews blog:

"But today comes this report that Zebari told the Washington Post "that he had some frank talk for the candidate: 'The foreign minister said ‘my message’ to Mr. Obama ‘was very clear...Really, we are making progress. I hope any actions you will take will not endanger this progress.’

UPDATE II: From Corner
Beyond that, aren't Obama's comments to Zebari — presuming they're being characterized accurately — a glaring contradiction of the Obama campaign's constant declaration of "profound differences" with McCain on the Iraq War? Isn't a large chunk of his support from the Democratic grassroots built on this notion that a President Obama would bring the troops home quickly?

Obama, an agent of vague change!

oops..he did it again. He thinks the best way to handle terrorism is treat as a law-enforcement matter:

This is what happened the other day with ABC’s Jake Tapper, who got Obama to talk about how we need to treat terrorism as a law-enforcement matter — which is exactly what he should not be saying if he wants to solidify those less-liberal Democratic v+otes in the states where he was shellacked by Hillary Clinton — and how he opposes all forms of school choice — which works against his vague message that he is a vague agent of vague change.

Words matter, Friends matter Mr. Obama!

I will be out of town for the weekend, but here are some great reads on Obama:

Carter on Obama

OUCH.....Even Carter thinks Obama is not ready to be President!!

What truth means to Obama?

Remember  Obama’s North Carolina victory speech?

"We will end it not by duplicating the same tactics and the same strategies as the other side, because that will lead us down the same path of polarization and of gridlock.

We will end it by
telling the truth.

We will end it by
telling the truth forcefully, repeatedly, confidently, and by trusting that the American people will embrace the need for change"

Well, I guess he forgot his own speech. By repeating the same lie about McCain's position regarding presence of the troops in Iraq and misleading public, hoping that it will become a fact.  The Atlantic.com had this to say:
"Democrats and allies are jumping on John McCain for telling NBC's Matt Lauer that "it's not important" when troops return from Iraq. Period. There's no because. There's almost never a because when one side seizes on the comments of another. The context makes it clear that McCain is reiterating his position that the presence of troops isn't the issue; instead, it's the casualties they receive."
Obama's misleading statements are NOT new.   Smear or Be Smeared?  , his deceptive ads,  his lobbyist's money,   his tactics against clinton, and on and on..

Oh! I forgot , and his misleading statement not getting any money from oil companies, click here to see for yourself.

Obama's College grades?

With so many gaffes and mistakes, I am wondering what were Obama's grades in College and Law school? What about his SAT score? I remember in 2000 & 2004 election it was a big deal! Remember this headline, "who is smarter Bush or Kerry?"

Well, what about it Mr. O? Let us see how smart you were!

Mr O, refuses to release his birth certificate, will he release his grades?

Definition of "work" for Mr. O

I told you more gaffes are coming..see this video where he attempts to weasel out of vetter controversy with lots of ums..ohs...ahhs..

Again, another good example of Obama without a teleprompter! he just goes on babbling and bumbling.

I hope he will give us more press conferences!

UPDATE I: The vetter is gone
