Obama's Bank
House Financial Services Committee ranking member Spencer Bachus is calling on the Obama administration to answer questions about whether it played a role in helping line up a $200 million public-private bailout of one of Barack Obama's favorite banks. In order to become eligible for a TARP bailout and avoid FDIC closure, Chicago's ShoreBank needed to line up $125 million in private capital. Eager to suck up to the Obama administration help this down-on-its-luck, philanthropy-minded community lender, noted Club TARP alums good samaritans Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and GE Capital banded together to raise the money. ShoreBank now qualifies for $75 million in TARP aid.

Press helped Obama to Presidency, but now Obama is ignoring Press
hmmm....What happened? The end of love affair?
Obama Turns His Back On the Press
So when the president hosted a “news conference” in the Rose Garden with the president of Mexico on Wednesday, Mr. Reid thought maybe this time Mr. Obama would take questions. Instead, Mr. Obama allowed only a single question from the American news media, calling on a reporter from Univision, making it unlikely that he would be asked about Tuesday’s anti-incumbent election results.

Without the mainstream press, Obama would not have been the President or even Senator in the first place...Now he is ignoring them, will they fight back?

Obama's freedom of press act - A joke!
After Signing "Freedom Of Press Act" Obama Refuses To Answer Questions
CBS' Chip Reid attempts to ask President Obama a question after he signs the "Freedom of Press Act." "I am not doing a press conference today," Obama told him.

Obama's pledges are worthless
Obama “firm pledge” on taxes now a “preference”...another promise crushed by Obama:
Read the following excerpt from the Daily Beast’s LLoyd Grove:
Folks, this is not funny anymore, all of Obama's promises was a big fat Lie.
Read the following excerpt from the Daily Beast’s LLoyd Grove:
Remember President Obama’s supposedly inviolable pledge—repeatedly uttered during the 2008 campaign and at countless town meetings since the inauguration—that he would never raise taxes on middle-class citizens who earn $250,000 a year or less?
This morning at a Manhattan breakfast sponsored by Thomson Reuters, White House Budget Director Peter Orszag threw that pledge out the window. Instead, he described Obama’s “read my lips, no new taxes” pledge as a “stance” and a “preference” that is subject to study by the president’s newly formed bipartisan Commission on Fiscal Responsibility.
“The president has been very clear about what he prefers,” Orszag said under questioning from Thomson Reuters’ Chrystia Freeland. “That was his stance during the campaign, and he still believes that’s the right course forward. But he has also been very clear that we shall let the commission go do its work.”
Folks, this is not funny anymore, all of Obama's promises was a big fat Lie.
