Obama Campaign Was Not much historic after-all!
According to this article, Obama's "small donors" base was an illusion and virtually identical to President Bush’s figures. And earlier we learned that turnout was not historic neither. After spending $600 million dollar, more than any other president in history, he could not get a higher turnout rate! hmmm.
So, what else we will come to learn was a lie?

Forget About My Cabinet, I Am The ONE, says Obama
"Understand where the vision for change comes from, first and foremost," he told reporters at his third press conference in as many days. "It comes from me. That's my job, is to provide a vision in terms of where we are going, and to make sure, then, that my team is implementing."President elect Obama, today at the press conference.
Did you get that? The least experienced president with no executive power and someone who has never run a business, let alone a country, says that everyone will follow HIS vision. But what "vision" is that?
How charitable is Mr. Obama?
"I want all of us to start thinking a little bit more, not just about what's good for me, but let's start thinking about what's good for our children, what's good for our country. The more we do that, the better off we're going to be.''Oh! really Mr. President elect!
Do you notice how his hitherto miserly contributions suddenly INCREASE as his political prospects increase? hmm..

Obama Is Signaling Four More Years of Bush Policy!
Bush supporters must be pinching themselves, not believing what they are seeing forming in-front of their eyes. It looks like Defense Secretary Robert Gates will be staying on in the top Pentagon job, Gen. Jim Jones is a leading candidate for national security adviser, and Pro-Iraq war Hillary will be the SOS.
Where is the CHANGE and HOPE here? Or is this the biggest head-fake? Or just maybe, he will turn right on foreign policy issues and turn ultra left on home front?
Who knows? We have elected the biggest unknown president with the least track record and experience!
Many bloggers are thinking the same way.

Obama's campaign rhetoric verses his actions after election!
"The real gamble in this election is playing the same Washington game with the same Washington players and expecting a different result."
Vice President Biden: First elected to Washington office in 1972.
Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel: Worked on his first congressional campaign in 1980; first presidential campaign in 1984; moved to Washington in 1993. Worked as Clinton staffer for five years; went to the board of Freddie Mac; elected to Congress in 2002.
Expected Secretary of State nominee Hillary Clinton: First came to Washington in 1993. Elected to the U.S. Senate in 2000.
Secretary of Homeland Security nominee Janet Napolitano: Anita Hill's attorney during the 1991 hearings; Clinton appointee to be U.S. Attorney in Arizona in 1993.
Secretary of Health and Human Services nominee Tom Daschle: First elected to Washington office in 1978.
Attorney General nominee Eric Holder: first began working at the Department of Justice in Washington in 1976.
Greg Craig, the incoming White House counsel, began his career at a Washington law firm and started his career inside the Beltway as an aide to Ted Kennedy in 1984.
Peter Orszag, the incoming head of the Office of Management and Budget, worked on Bill Clinton's National Economic Council starting in 1997 and went on to work at the Brookings Institution and the Congressional Budget Office. He is the "fresh face" among the named staffers so far in the sense that he has only been in Washington for about 11 years.
Are these people the "new faces" of Obama's HOPE and CHANGE?

Oops: Agenda disappears from Obama Web site
Over the weekend President-elect Barack Obama scrubbed Change.gov, his transition Web site, deleting most of what had been a massive agenda copied directly from his campaign Web site.
Gone are the promises on how an Obama administration would handle 25 different agenda items - everything from Iraq and immigration to taxes and urban policy - all items laid out on his campaign Web site, www.BarackObama.com.
Instead, the official agenda on Change.gov has been boiled down to one vague paragraph proclaiming a plan “to revive the economy, to fix our health care, education, and social security systems, to define a clear path to energy independence, to end the war in Iraq responsibly and finish our mission in Afghanistan, and to work with our allies to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, among many other domestic and foreign policy objectives.”
The agenda items, which were active for at least part of the weekend, appear to have been deleted by late Saturday.
Well, this is a good start. The "CHANGE" we can believe in.

President-elect Obama's first gaffe: A slap at Nancy Reagan
In a hasty and wise bit of damage control, president-elect Barack Obama quickly telephoned former First Lady Nancy Reagan this afternoon to apologize for "a careless and offhanded remark" he made about her this morning during his first post-election news conference.
Obama was asked how he was preparing to take over the White House, what books he's reading, if he'd talked to any ex-presidents. He replied:
In terms of speaking to former presidents, I've spoken to all of them that are living. Obviously,President Clinton -- I didn't want to get into aNancy Reagan thing about, you know, doing any seances."
The passing reference to the former First Lady's alleged interest in horoscopes struck some observers as a gratuitous slap at an old lady at a time Obama was trying to set a positive, professed bipartisan tone for his transition.
UPDATE: OBAMA apologizes to Nancy Reagan.

Individual liberty vs Common Good
The irony is that Obama arrives at the threshold of the White House steeped in ideas that subordinate individual freedom to the collective. In his campaign and his victory speech, Obama declares that America's "timeless creed" is now, "yes, we can." This is not a defense of liberty. It is a declaration so malleable and generic that it could have applied to anything from Lenin's Bolshevik Revolution to the Little Engine that Could.
Obama has called repeatedly upon America's people to sacrifice. What's not yet clear is whether this will entail sacrifice in the common defense of liberty, or whether it is liberty itself that will step by step be sacrificed in the name of the common good. If the latter, the implications are indeed world-changing. For the past century, America has stood as the world's great bulwark of freedom. That can no longer be taken as a given. Americans will be hard pressed to support freedom elsewhere if they do not protect it at home.
I will be starting a different blog. My goal would to be to list Obama's broken promises and outline what all of his "change" and "hope" in coming weeks and months.

Say hello to president and vice president gaffe galore
Here is President elect Barack Obama, the wonder boy, does a chin-up before a campaign rally. We got the change he promised, and congratulations is in order, because this is the first promise that he has kept so far. He delivered the CHANGE. This will be a fun 4 years with full of gaffes, exaggerations and grandiose gestures. We will be here to document each one. Congratulations President elect O.
UPDATE: Some reactions from NRO blogger:
What won this election was the packaging skills of David Axelrod, the swooning complicity of the media, the ruthless opportunism of Barack Obama, and the unprincipled thuggishness of his supporters.
What lost this election was the cloth-eared cluelessness of George W. Bush, the timid squeamishness of John McCain, and the deep lack of interest in conservative principles among Republican primary voters.

Obama is not ready to lead!
One day to go....know who you are voting for? Who is an open book? and who has been a mystery? After 2 years of campaigning there is a LOT that we don't know about Obama ..this is NOT the time to experiment with an unknown. Wake up America and vote for someone who has been tested !
Obama : How to destroy Coal & Agriculture Industry ?? Really!
He also wants to shape agriculture industry and he is blaming our agriculture policy for global warming, obesity, stroke, heart disease, etc.
