It is worth remembering that Obama has already made Canada nervous on trade issues. And that European officials are already fretting that an Obama presidency would engage in an unconditional surrender regarding the Iranian nuclear threat. Barack Obama was supposedly running as a candidate who would not alienate US allies — did he flip-flop on that too?

Obama will be elected by our Media
In news reports, when McCain responds to criticism, he is on the defensive, but when Obama responds he hits back forcefully. When McCain makes gaffes on the campaign trail, it raises serious questions about his age and judgment.
Obama's gaffes are ignored or attributed to fatigue from tough campaigning. You'll often hear Republican positions described as controversial, but you won't hear about controversial Democratic positions.
UPDATE: Well I guess some media outlets will try expose him. Read today New York Post, LIARS' ROUND-UP..its a good start!
But wait...read more.

Obama's middle name, no more!
"It's one thing for Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, to distance himself from his minister, his home lender, his pledge to try to work out an agreement to use public financing, or the importance of telecom immunity in the FISA bill.
But his own middle initial?
Clearly, however, the middle name "Hussein" is not an automatic crowd-winner, and the Obama campaign is sensitive to any reminder -- no matter how internal or benign -- of said name."

"Changed" Obama
Wow! just watch this video. Just 2 years ago, he did not even think that he was ready for the highest office. He even supported Bush on Iraq war. I guess, the "change" Obama talks about is about the degree of which he IS "changed" in the last 2 years.
Don't count on Obama's promises!
When in the course of political events it becomes advantageous for a presidential candidate to dissolve a campaign promise, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that the candidate at least refrain from wrapping himself in the Declaration of Independence.
Not Barack Obama.
What's galling is Obama's effort to portray himself through this entire episode as somehow different from, and purer than, the ordinary politician. Link
Yes, he can!

Two Obamas...
The nation sees one Obama, Chicago knows another
For all his talk elsewhere about change and his national image as a fervent reformer, Obama on the contrary remains fundamentally a product of a Chicago and Illinois political culture renowned for corruption and filled with curious characters who range from felonious to just outrageous.Whenever the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee has dabbled in Windy City and Cook County politics in recent years, he has frequently failed to come down on the side of political progressives and reformers.
Beware Obama donors!

Obama statements come with an expiration date
- On Nuclear Power: Last year he was for it and this year he is not
- On Public Financing: Last hear he promised and now he will not
- On supporting his pastor, he first supported, then later changed his mind
- On taking money from lobbyists & his camp is closely Linked with ethanol group
- On NAFTA, campaigned against NAFTA, but has now changed his tune
- On FISA flip, flop. He now will support the House FISA compromise bill, even though he didn't back in February.
It is no secret that the media has been openly rooting for Obama for months. His gaffes would have felled other candidates, his relationship with hate-mongering preachers would have disqualified mere mortal candidates and, of course, his lack of any national record of accomplishment might have prevented all much the most ego-inflated from even mounting a White House run. But it was hanging together fairly well until last week.

Obama's Ad = Lies
From Weekly Standard Blog:
"So Obama's new ad, the first of the general election, "cites Public Law 110-181 when he talks about his efforts to extend 'health care for wounded troops who'd been neglected.'" The problem? Obama never showed up to the vote. He was actually too busy campaigning to make it back to Washington to vote for the bill, but wants the American people to think he deserves the credit. Sounds a lot like the 2005 Energy Bill, which Obama has the gall to attack John McCain on even though the junior senator from Illinois voted for it and McCain voted against it."
Check out the vote roll here: U.S. Senate Roll Call Votes 110th Congress - 2nd Session
UPDATE I: OBAMA NEEDS TO EXPLAIN HOW HE HELPED WOUNDED TROOPS
UPdate II:A poster at Daily Kos attempted to defend Obama, but towards the end of the post, notes that Obama offered two amendments that dealt with medical and mental health assessments and a temporary moratorium on discharges for personality disorders… but neither amendment was considered for a vote. Link.
UPDATE III: What a liar. The staff gets very frustrated when Obama lies and the media plays along. Link
UPDATE IV: If you don't have a record to run on, Just make one up! But as we all know, Obama doesn’t have much value at all when it comes to his experience or integrity. So the only way he has left to sell himself to the American public is to exaggerate his accomplishments. Link
Obama's seal, Audacity of Arrogance
But oops, Weekly Standard thinks he may be breaking a law. Check it out here. This is worse than a gaffe! It's absolute arrogance.
"Barack is one of the smartest people you will ever encounter who will deign to enter this messy thing called politics," his wife said a few weeks ago, adding that Americans will get only one chance to elect him.
Obama's lies to pile up
“John McCain’s campaign and the Republican National Committee are fueled by contributions from Washington lobbyists and special interest PACs,” Obama said in his message to supporters yesterday. “And we’ve already seen that he’s not going to stop the smears and attacks from his allies running so-called 527 groups, who will spend millions and millions of dollars in unlimited donations.”
To date, no conservative 527 groups have materialized.
Obama the $500 million man
Watch this video.
'We have found the new politics -- and it can spend half a billion dollars to win an election.'and the ABC blog goes on to say:
"Obama made a coldly calculating decision based on a desire to win. He tossed aside a pledge rather than throwing away the single biggest advantage he enjoys over his rival."

Obama´s half truths
In the course of a single speech Obama asserted that offshore oil exploration would —in the very best scenario— take five years to drive down the cost of gas 3 or 4 cents, but that an investment of 250 billion dollars five years ago would have produced an engine that didn't require fossil fuels.
Obama asserted that we could move to 40 MPG fuel standards for cars, and at another point asserted that the technology existed for 100 MPG cars, even as he asserted that exploration on the outer continental shelf and Alaska would cause permanent environmental damage.
Obama extolled a high school he had visited that —he firmly stated— was majority Hispanic, and which had gone from a 50% drop-out rate to a 100% graduation and college enrollment rate in one year by using an Afro-American centric curriculum that focused on African music, then blues and jazz. Obama held out this school as an example of what could be achieved when students "were engaged in a curriculum that was interesting to them and seemed relevant to them."
Obama´s vague change!
Here is an article touching the same issue:
"At the same time, the Illinois senator's choices for his Senior Working Group on National Security may open him up to more criticism from Republicans that the professed "change" candidate is relying on familiar Washington insiders or that the failure of these former officials to kill or catch Osama bin Laden before the 9-11 attacks left the nation vulnerable on President Bush's watch.
"There's nothing 'new' about this group of Washington insiders," Republican National Committee spokesman Alex Conant said. He urged Obama to spend more time meeting with commanders in Iraq and considering the positive effects of the military troop buildup there instead of "sitting down in a room with a bunch of Washington elites, many of whom also opposed the surge."

Obama & Iraq = Inconvenient Truth
Interviewer: But you said that troops should be withdrawn.
Obama: No, no. I’ve never said that troops should be withdrawn. What I’ve said is that we’ve got to make sure that we secure and execute the rebuilding and reconstruction process effectively and properly and I don’t think we should have an artificial deadline when to do that. What’s important is that we have a long-term plan in process and short-term security strategy.
How come no one in the media is asking anything abou this?

Obama & Iraqi Minister? Another Gaffe?
I speculated that something seemed odd about Barack Obama’s account of his
conversation with Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshay Zebari. Obama said that Zebari
didn’t express any concern about Obama’s immediate withdrawal plans. Well,
according to Zebari that is a lie.
Jennifer Rubin, from Commentary Magazine continue to write:
There seems little reason for Zebari to lie about his private meeting with
Obama. That leaves us to conclude that Obama either didn’t listen to or didn’t
understand what Zebari said or misrepresented what he heard from the Foreign
Minister. That is deeply troubling. An explanation seems in order from Obama.
H/T: Gatewaypundit, The Air Force Pundit
UPDATE I: From ABCnews blog:
"But today comes this report that Zebari told the Washington Post "that he had some frank talk for the candidate: 'The foreign minister said ‘my message’ to Mr. Obama ‘was very clear...Really, we are making progress. I hope any actions you will take will not endanger this progress.’
UPDATE II: From CornerBeyond that, aren't Obama's comments to Zebari — presuming they're being characterized accurately — a glaring contradiction of the Obama campaign's constant declaration of "profound differences" with McCain on the Iraq War? Isn't a large chunk of his support from the Democratic grassroots built on this notion that a President Obama would bring the troops home quickly?

Obama, an agent of vague change!
This is what happened the other day with ABC’s Jake Tapper, who got Obama to talk about how we need to treat terrorism as a law-enforcement matter — which is exactly what he should not be saying if he wants to solidify those less-liberal Democratic v+otes in the states where he was shellacked by Hillary Clinton — and how he opposes all forms of school choice — which works against his vague message that he is a vague agent of vague change.

Words matter, Friends matter Mr. Obama!
Wednesday, June 11, 2008
What truth means to Obama?
"We will end it not by duplicating the same tactics and the same strategies as the other side, because that will lead us down the same path of polarization and of gridlock.
We will end it by telling the truth.
We will end it by telling the truth forcefully, repeatedly, confidently, and by trusting that the American people will embrace the need for change"
Well, I guess he forgot his own speech. By repeating the same lie about McCain's position regarding presence of the troops in Iraq and misleading public, hoping that it will become a fact. The Atlantic.com had this to say:
"Democrats and allies are jumping on John McCain for telling NBC's Matt Lauer that "it's not important" when troops return from Iraq. Period. There's no because. There's almost never a because when one side seizes on the comments of another. The context makes it clear that McCain is reiterating his position that the presence of troops isn't the issue; instead, it's the casualties they receive."

Definition of "work" for Mr. O
Again, another good example of Obama without a teleprompter! he just goes on babbling and bumbling.
I hope he will give us more press conferences!

Cocky Obama
Now that Senator Barack Obama has become the Democrats' nominee for President of the United States, to the cheers of the media at home and abroad, he has written a letter to the Secretary of Defense, in a tone as if he is already President, addressing one of his subordinates.
The letter ends: "I look forward to your swift response."
With wars going on in both Iraq and Afghanistan, a Secretary of Defense might have some other things to look after, before making a "swift response" to a political candidate.

Another gaffe? decided for yourself, he can NOT decide on his own, he is a puppet of Axelrod, his powerful advisor and the king maker. He makes gaffes because he needs to be told what to say!
Mr. Sowell goes on to say in the above article:
Perhaps even more important, do the media even care whether Senator Obama knows what he is talking about? Or is the symbolism of "the first black President" paramount, even if that means a President with cocky ignorance at a time of national danger?
The media have been crucial to Barack Obama's whole candidacy. His only achievements of national significance in his entire career have been media achievements and rhetorical achievements.

You don't need to know the facts when you have cocky ignorance and the media behind you.

Obama's snake-oil salesman ways tripped up by gaffes
"Barack Hussein Obama's unblushing blunders, noted by conservative columnist/blogger Michelle Malkin and others, do not detract from mainstream media's love affair with him. Even when contradictions are absurdly obvious as when he recently told a large crowd of admirers in Oregon that tiny countries with small defense budgets pose no harm; that Iran is not a serious threat to us and the very next day stating, "I've made it clear for years that the threat from Iran is grave." Beg pardon?MSM knows that the American psyche is such that we ignore news until it is repeated and repeated again and again -- you get the idea -- by news celebrities, er, commentators, and picked up by Leno and Letterman types. These are those who hoo-haw every misspeak by President Bush but ignore Obama's glaring idiocies."
" Obama's gaffes won't matter at all until they do (at which point they will all matter all at once)."
Quote from ABC News blog.

Obama-Zone
"Ah, but we have entered the Obama zone, where conditions are not conditions, where Ahmadinejad is and is not really the leader of Iran, where the Iranian Revolutionary Guards isn't a terrorist group one year but is the next, where Iran is simultaneously a "tiny" and a "grave" threat, and where the absence of American combat troops in Iraq actually increases U.S. influence in the Middle East.
Here, doves are reborn as hawks, and liberals are turned into "pragmatists." And somehow the security of America and her allies will be enhanced by inadvertently promoting the interests of her enemies."
Read the whole thing here.
Obama's words! No one listens!
" Barack Obama concluded his triumphal St. Paul, Minn., speech by proclaiming: "I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick …"If people just stopped and really heard what he says, people will laugh instead of cheering. What does he mean that "our planet began to heal"? Does he mean by electing him, he will have the power to heal the "planet"??It is absolutely certain that generations from now someone will remember that even before that night in St. Paul, care was provided to the sick in America. Obama also asserted that future generations would say that "this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal …" The man and the moment have met."

Whup them!
" At a town hall meeting on health care at Virginia High School, a 95-year-old voter gave the expected nominee a maple walking stick he had carved himself with the intention of giving it to Obama. Obama thanked the man and then, admiring his new gift, said “If members of Congress don’t pass my health care plan, I’ll whup them, I’ll whup them. That’s right, don’t mess with me, I’ll have my stick.”
What? Whup them??? So this is the CHANGE he is talking about!

Is Obama being honest?
has a similar questions:
"Obama's having been born and raised a Muslim and having left the faith to become a Christian make him neither more nor less qualified to become president of the United States. But if he was born and raised a Muslim and is now hiding that fact, this points to a major deceit, a fundamental misrepresentation about himself that has profound implications about his character and his suitability as president."
Was he ever a Muslim? Read on and why is he ashamed of it?

Obam's Iran flip flop
YES WE CAN FOOL PEOPLE! YES WE CAN!
Tuesday, June 3, 2008
Oh! not again, Obama the clueless!
"John McCain has spent a lot of time talking about trips to Iraq in the last few weeks, but maybe if he spent some time taking trips to the cities and towns that have been hardest hit by this economy -- cities in Michigan, and Ohio, and right here in Minnesota -- he'd understand the kind of change that people are looking for."
And the funny thing is the Obama did not even bother to campaign in Kentucky, West Virginia, Michigan, Florida! What a guy!
Gaffes Galore !
Anyone who lived his first 18 years out of the continental United States, and then attended politically-correct Ivy League schools before jumping into Chicago politics might not have a broad view of American demography and indeed, U.S. history—much less the sociology of the United States. But the number of Obama’s slips are staggering.
They range from geographical ignorance (Arkansas is not contiguous with Kentucky, but is with Illinois), to US history (there are 50 states in the Union; the US army did not liberate Auschwitz) to foreign affairs (the election of Hugo Chavez predated George Bush) to simple political ignorance (you don’t trash the lower white middle class to San Francisco elites) and common decency (you don’t put your own grandmother on the same moral plane as the racist Wright, or a U.S senator in the same category as the terrorist Ayers.)
Obama's war "judgement"
"We've seen this movie before," Obama said at a town hall in Rapid City, South Dakota. "A leader who pursues the wrong course, who is unwilling to change course, who ignores the evidence. Now, just like George Bush, John McCain is refusing to admit that he's made a mistake."
Obama explained to the crowd of 2700 that McCain had said on Friday that the US had drawn down to pre-surge troop levels in Iraq.
"John McCain was wrong, and he was wrong on the most important question that any commander-in-chief faces," Obama said.
Not so fast, Mr. O! Will he admit he made another "mistake"?

Obama's Iraq flip/flop or another Gaffe?
"The failure of the Iraqi state would be a disaster," he said at a lunch sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor, according to an audiotape of the session. "It would dishonor the 900-plus men and women who have already died. . . . It would be a betrayal of the promise that we made to the Iraqi people, and it would be hugely destabilizing from a national security perspective."
In late winter, 2008, on the campaign trail, Obama says he wants to bring the troops home yesterday -- you decide -- was he lying then or is he lying now?

Barack Potatoe Obama?
"Imagine that John McCain named a young running mate to campaign with him, and this national rookie suggested America had 58 states, repeatedly used the wrong names for the cities he was visiting, and honored a Memorial Day crowd by acknowledging the "fallen heroes" who were present, somehow alive and standing in the audience. How long would it take for the national media to see another Dan Quayle caricature? Let's raise the stakes. What if it was the GOP presidential candidatemaking these thoroughly ridiculous comments? This scenario is very real, except it isn't McCain. It's the other fellow."

Does obama has any judgment?
- He is flat out stupid and not nearly as well spoken and articulate as we thought.
- When he messes up a story, or doesn't know what a holiday means, or doesn't know how many states there are, or doesn't know which states are next to other states, he shows he really doesn't care enough about these things to understand them.
Give Obama the potato test
HE GENERATES even more gaffes than Dan Quayle. "We have not exhausted our nonmilitary options in confronting the Iranian threat; in many ways, we have yet to try them," Sen. Barack Obama says on his Web site. "If Iran abandons its nuclear program and support for terrorism, we will offer incentives like membership in the World Trade Organization."It was Albert Einstein who first defined insanity as "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." "Perhaps Mr. Obama is unaware that one of [Iranian President Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad's first acts was to freeze Tehran's efforts for securing WTO membership because he regards the outfit as 'a nest of conspiracies by Zionists and Americans,'•" wrote Amir Taheri in the Wall Street Journal this week.
